The MEB hosts its Premium Members for an exclusive networking evening and outlines its evolution

Guests had the privilege of spending this evening on Wednesday, 8 July, gazing out towards the sea from the private beach of the Malizia Mar on the Digue du Port Hercule. It was a moment for exchange and networking, aimed at strengthening connections in an environment that is both convivial and of high quality.

During the welcome address, Chairman Michel Dotta and then CEO Guillaume Rose discussed the transformation of the Monaco Economic Board into the Chamber of Commerce of Monaco, sharing preliminary details of this process. This change is part of a clarification of the roles of various economic bodies within the Principality, notably including the expansion of the missions of the Attractiveness Unit of the Prince’s Government and its rebranding as Invest Monaco.

From the MEB’s perspective, this evolution will be accompanied by a renewed ambition: to strengthen its role as a unifying force and catalyst for the economic development of Monégasque businesses.

The proposed orientations aim to strengthen networking opportunities, invigorate the entrepreneurial ecosystem, support innovation and access to new international markets, reinforce links with public policies, enhance services for members, and accompany this dynamic through communication structured around a renewed identity.

Among the new initiatives mentioned, the future Chamber of Commerce will establish a dedicated unit for producing economic intelligence, responsible for sectoral studies, indicators, and strategic monitoring reports. Additionally, a dedicated mobile application for members was announced.

The entire project will need to be approved at an Extraordinary General Meeting scheduled for autumn, with the precise date to be determined later.

Meanwhile, while awaiting this new impetus, the present leaders were able to fully appreciate the benefits of the actions undertaken by the upcoming former MEB during an event that continued in a convivial atmosphere, complemented by a refreshing sea breeze that was all the more timely.
