DELEGATION HOSTED FROM THE CZECH REPUBLIC
On Wednesday 15 June 2016, the Czech Republic Embassy organised a promotional operation in the Principality, together with the Honorary General Consul of the Czech Republic (celebrating its 20th anniversary this year), the Pilsen Region, CzechTourism Agency and lighting design brand Lasvit, with the support of the Monaco Economic Board.
The event took place in two phases at the Yacht Club de Monaco.
At 3.00pm there was a presentation on Czech breweries, the speakers being the Ambassador, Her Excellency Mrs Maria Chatardova; the Honorary General Consul, Mr François-Jean Brych; the President of the Pilsen Region; Director of the CzechTourism Agency; and directors of Czech breweries and malt houses.
From 4.30pm B2B meetings were organised between Czech and Monaco companies. The event ended with a reception attended by HSH Prince Albert II when guests had the opportunity to sample beers and specialities from the Pilsen Region.
