From West to East, the MEB continues its journey to develop our businesses

After a successful economic mission during H.S.H. Prince Albert II's official visit to Paraguay, Guillaume Rose, CEO of the Monaco Economic Board, extended his trip to Asia. On November 6 and 7, he spent two days in Shanghai to attend the China International Import Expo (CIIE), the world's biggest import fair, which attracts around 400,000 professional Chinese buyers each year.

This trip supported the efforts of the Monaco Embassy in China, which, under the leadership of H.E. Ms Marie-Pascale Boisson, once again this year provided the Monaco National Pavilion for Monegasque companies in the National Pavilions hall.

Once again the MEB acted as a facilitator, connecting 17 Monegasque companies with the Principality's diplomatic networks to achieve tangible results for both sides.

Meanwhile, Guillaume Rose managed to meet with his counterparts from the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce to organise a major economic mission to the core of the world's second-largest economy, planned for June 2026.

Building on this effort, the MEB is extending its international activities with an economic mission to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from November 23 to 27.
