A promise is a promise! The MEB has prepared an exciting new season packed with a vibrant and diverse line-up of promising events!

Starting September 11, economist Jean-Pierre Petit will return in partnership with Jutheau Husson. On September 16, discover Cabo Verde’s investment opportunities during the conference intituled “Cabo Verde, an Alternative Investment Destination” at the Automobile Club de Monaco. On September 18, we head to the Monaco Business Trade Show, featuring a conference on the importance of security for the Monegasque economy hosted by the Club Éco Monaco - Nice-Matin Group, alongside the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the Public Establishment of Commerce and Industry of Corsica. On the 28th, the MEB renews its partnership with Monaco's Association of Certified Public Accountants, in collaboration with 99 Avocats Associés, for a conference on business law. Then, on September 29, Muriel Deya (Monaco Customs) and Etienne Pollet (Nice Customs) will break down the EU's new free trade agreements. 

On October 5, an Extraordinary General Meeting will be held at the Yacht Club de Monaco to discuss the transformation of the MEB into the “Monaco Chamber of Commerce”. It will be followed by the 58th Members’ Rendez-Vous. The following day, we will partner with the Monegasque Digital Chamber for a conference dedicated to cybersecurity challenges.

On the international front, the Monaco Chamber of Commerce will welcome a German delegation from the BWA on October 9, in collaboration with the Embassy of Monaco in Germany. 

Three business trips will be offered at the end of the year:

- From October 13 to 16, we will take you on an economic mission to Montenegro, co-organised with the local Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate of Montenegro in Monaco.

- From November 3 to 10, an economic mission under the auspices of the Embassy of Monaco in China will give you the opportunity to discover the dynamism of Hong Kong, Macao and Shenzhen.

- At the same time, from November 5 to 10, the Embassy of Monaco in China will once again offer the opportunity to participate in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.

Economic Conference with Jean-Pierre Petit

Jean-Pierre Petit, President of Les Cahiers Verts de l'Économie, will deliver a lecture in the Principality on September 11 to share his insightful analysis of global macroeconomic trends. Organized with the support of our loyal partner and member Jutheau Husson, the event will take place over breakfast at the Hôtel Hermitage.

Conference ‘Cape Verde: an alternative investment destination’

The MEB invites you to attend, on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at the Automobile Club de Monaco, a conference organized by our partner, the Club des Entrepreneurs Monégasques en Afrique (CEMA), dedicated to the economic opportunities offered by Cabo Verde.

Participation in the Monaco Business Exhibition

The MEB will once again take an active part in the Monaco Business Exhibition on September 18. As part of the event, it will co-organize a Club Éco Monaco – Groupe Nice-Matin conference focusing on security and sign a new partnership agreement with a regional economic entity, the Corsica Public Establishment for Commerce and Industry.

Conference with the Monaco Order of Chartered Accountants

In partnership with the Monaco Order of Chartered Accountants and in collaboration with 99 Avocats Associés, the MEB will organize a conference on September 28 at the Novotel on the modernization of corporate law, focusing on the topic: "Reform of Corporate Law in Monaco (Law 1573): What impact on management?".

Export Conference with the French Customs in Monaco

As part of this conference organized by the MEB, Muriel Deya, Head of the Monaco Customs Office, and Etienne Pollet, Business Advisor at the Nice Regional Customs Directorate, will provide a comprehensive overview of the new free trade agreements signed by the European Union, notably with Mercosur, India, Indonesia, Australia and the United States.

Extraordinary General Meeting

An Extraordinary General Meeting will be held on October 5, giving members the opportunity to vote on the transformation of the Monaco Economic Board into the Monaco Chamber of Commerce. The “Director” contacts of member companies will receive their invitation by mail. This important milestone will be followed by the 58th Members’ Rendez-Vous.

58th Rendez-vous des Adhérents

To kick off the new season in style, and in celebration of the transformation of the MEB into the “Monaco Chamber of Commerce”, the 58th Members’ Rendez-Vous will take place on October 5 at the Yacht Club de Monaco. Prior to the event, an Extraordinary General Meeting will be held to formally approve this change in status.

Conference with the Monegasque Digital Chamber

The Monaco Chamber of Commerce will host a conference dedicated to key cybersecurity challenges, in partnership with the Monegasque Digital Chamber on October 6 at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

Welcoming a German Delegation (BWA)

The Monaco Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome a delegation from the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) on October 9 at Stars of Monaco. This event is organized under the auspices of the Embassy of Monaco in Germany and in close collaboration with the BWA.

Economic Mission to Montenegro - Podgorica & Porto Montenegro

Heading to the Balkans! From October 13 to 16, the Monaco Chamber of Commerce will lead a business mission to Montenegro, exploring Podgorica and Porto Montenegro. A unique opportunity for Monaco-based companies, organized in collaboration with the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and with the valuable support of the Consulate of Montenegro in Monaco.

Hong Kong, Shenzhen & Macao Business Mission

Under the auspices of the Monaco Embassy in China and in conjunction with an Invest Monaco delegation, the Monaco Chamber of Commerce will organise an economic mission from 3 to 10 November to the Pearl River Delta megalopolis, with visits to Hong Kong, Macao and Shenzhen (in collaboration with Monaco Telecom for the latter).

Participation in the China International Import Expo (CIIE)

Following the success of previous editions, the Embassy of Monaco in China and the Monaco Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce (CCPIT), are once again joining forces to open the doors to the world’s largest import expo from November 5 to 10!

Monaco Economic Board Joins the Alliance des Patronats Francophones

As part of its evolution into the Monaco Chamber of Commerce—further expanding its services and business networks—the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) officially announces its membership in the Alliance des Patronats Francophones. This strategic step provides Monegasque businesses with new growth opportunities and an enhanced international reach.

Monaco and Slovenia Celebrate 20 Years of Diplomatic Relations

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Monaco and Slovenia, the MEB took part on Tuesday, July 21, in an economic event jointly organized by the Embassy of Monaco in Italy and Slovenia and the Invest Monaco unit.

INTERNATIONAL TRADE FORMALITIES

End of paper ATA Carnets for fully digitized destinations

Since September 1, ATA Carnets, which act as passports for goods during temporary exports, are no longer printed as a backup for destinations that have fully transitioned to the paperless procedure, namely Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Norway and most of the French overseas territories. This measure marks a decisive step in the rollout of the e-ATA Carnet system, which will be progressively extended until the end of 2027.

Conducted jointly by IMSEE and the Monaco Government Tourist and Convention Authority among approximately 17,500 visitors, this survey provides a comprehensive overview of tourism activity in Monaco.
