Attractiveness at the Heart of the 54th Members' Meetin

16/09/2025

Over 400 economic leaders from the Principality registered for the Monaco Economic Board’s (MEB) 54th Members’ Meeting, which took place on Monday, 15 September at the Yacht Club de Monaco. This "back-to-business" event was marked by the announcement of a packed schedule for the end of the year and an address by Ludmilla Raconnat Le Goff, the new Delegate for Attractiveness.

Monday, 15 September marked a highlight of the Principality's economic calendar, as the Monaco Economic Board (MEB) held its 54th Members' Meeting, a networking cocktail, at the Yacht Club de Monaco.

President Michel Dotta was the first to speak, opening the event by mentioning ‘an important period for Monaco’ with the arrival of H.E. Christophe Mirmand as Minister of State this summer. He highlighted that his previous experience as Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes and later of the PACA region “enables us to work with someone who already has a very good knowledge of our country.”

He then congratulated Ms Raconnat Le Goff on her appointment on behalf of the MEB. On this occasion, he noted that the new Delegate in charge of Attractiveness "has a deep understanding of our institutions, as well as our organisation, where she held senior positions from 2007 to 2009 within the Chamber of Economic Development*, notably under Franck Biancheri. (...) Her experience and drive will be a huge asset in supporting us and promoting our country's economy.”

Ms Raconnat Le Goff then spoke to the MEB members, stressing that her appointment marked the Government's aim to build on three key pillars:

a clear governance, fully taken on by the State;

an improved coordination between public and private stakeholders and partners;

a selective, pragmatic approach that leverages Monaco's unique strengths.

She also described the Monaco Economic Board as “one of the key drivers of the attractiveness policy (...) both as an ambassador for Monaco's economic dynamism and as an essential relay for public strategy internationally.”

Finally, she added that, besides her aim of attracting new businesses to Monaco, her mission was also to promote and retain those already established there, “living proof that the Principality is a great place to do business.” She also promised to visit them at their offices whenever possible.

MEB CEO Guillaume Rose concluded the sequence by presenting a rich programme for the year's end. He highlighted various events, including conferences about the excellence of education in Monaco, Latvia's economic attractions, the criminal liability of business leaders; a new session of B2B meetings between members; visits by delegations from Poland and India; trips abroad to Jeddah and Shanghai, and the highly anticipated Club Eco Monaco Awards ceremony to wrap up the year.

After the speeches, the economic decision-makers in attendance could take in the stunning panoramic view of Port Hercules from the Monaco Yacht Club's deck, setting the ideal stage for networking with Monaco's top business leaders.
