Support with managing your temporary exports

Delivered and recorded by the MEB’s International Procedures service, the ATA Carnet (Admission Temporaire-Temporary Admission) is a customs document allowing you to carry or send goods abroad temporarily, without paying duties or taxes. It can be used in over 60 countries, and must be stamped on entering and leaving each country.

ATA Carnet

The ATA Carnet is particularly useful for:

  • Prospecting for new export markets with product samples
  • Exhibiting goods at exhibitions and trade fairs
  • Temporarily exporting material for installing, maintaining or repairing equipment abroad

NOTE: Postponement of the ATA change of procedure from November 4, 2019 to February 4, 2020

Referring partner of the International Procedure Department of the Monaco Chamber of Commerce, the CCI Ile-de-France has decided to postpone the launch date of the future GEFI (Electronic Management of International Formalities) to 4 February 2020.

> For Monegasque companies, the ATA carnet procedures will therefore remain unchanged until this new date.

The Île-de-France Chamber of Commerce explains that it decided to postpone this decision in order to strengthen the training of partner chambers of commerce and to ensure the security of the future platform's operation.
