Meeting of the marinas of the future

The third Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendez-Vous brings together all those involved to promote the emergence of virtuous marinas.

For the past three years, the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendez-vous has been bringing together an ecosystem of some 250 people, representing the most important players in the sector (entrepreneurs and start-ups who want to meet industrialists, investors, promoters, marina developers and architects as well as yachting professionals) in the search for innovative solutions to promote the development of virtuous marinas and support new-generation yachting.

Correct electrification, use of clean energy so that diesel generators are no longer needed, real application of existing rules, better management of grey and black water, as well as drinking water, recycling: these are all challenges that many marinas still face.  Marinas are micro-cities that include hotels, restaurants and shops and the potential market amounts to billions of euros worldwide.  The Monégasque platform aims to develop devices capable of anticipating the carbon footprint of infrastructures, solutions for capturing and analysing data allowing savings of up to 20% on water consumption and 50% on energy and intelligent infrastructure maintenance systems, in particular for leak detection.  Since the first edition, the concept has been extended to architects and existing or in-construction marinas.

This year it takes place on 24 and 25 September, organised by M3, a Monaco-based company specialising in the management of marinas and ports, in partnership with Blumorpho, an expert in positive-impact open innovation ecosystems.
